Experiencing stress? As we go about our journey of creating a “feelgood” life, it is important to know that life is made-up of times where we feelgood but also times of stress. While we strive to always feelgood we should recognize that experiencing stress is often the price we pay for achieving our end goals.
Prolonged periods of experiencing stress, that feeling of “fight-or-flight” can have a non-beneficial impact on one’s health. The nervous system controls everything we do, including breathing, walking, thinking, and feeling. This system is made up of one’s brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body. The brain is the control center and the spinal cord is the major highway to and from the brain. The nerves carry the messages to and from the body, so the brain can interpret them and take action. The nervous system is a ball of energy. From a deeper sense, it is one’s heart and solar plexus chakra where one houses passion and stress.
While we often allow ourselves to become preoccupied with the stressful times in our lives, and it is crucial that we add time in our lives to ease the nervous system and create moments of calm, laughter and peace.
So how do we create a better balance between the times we feelgood and the stress it takes to get us there? One way of calming the nervous system is through Reiki and energy balancing. This helps to create alignment in the life force of a human being. Adding Reiki to your “feelgood” life will assist in communication with the nervous system to align itself physically, emotionally, spiritual and energetically.
The feelgood life is simpler than you think!
